A Few Words From Our Students
We are very fortunate to have a relatively small student body at Carolina Career College. It allows for small student to teacher ratios. It means we can offer mentoring and exam prep sessions. It means we can greet you by name when you walk in the door for class. Recently, some of our students have posted reviews that have put some awfully big smiles on our faces and would like to share them with you today.
Noone ever said it would be easy, and Uriah Funches admits early in his schooling he had some hesitation about continuing. After meeting with one of the members of our operations team, Uriah elected to continue and started working in the IT field less than three months after enrollment. Here’s what Uriah had to say:
“Carolina Career College has changed my life for the better. My knowledge and thirst for knowledge in the IT world has greatly increased. I call the team my “Personal Greeting Committee”. They know who they are, were great and helpful in every way. I recommend that you take the courses and all the help that Carolina Career College has to offer, you won’t regret it!”
Myron Malit is a current student at Carolina Career College, scheduled to graduate in June. He got to work even faster than Uriah, finding himself conducting IT support at one of the world’s largest gaming companies less than two months after starting classes. Today, Myron is working on a fiber project for a telecommunications company.
“Carolina Career College has been a wonderful experience thus far. The Career Services staff is very attentive to everyone’s needs and is quick to set you on the right path. As for the teaching staff, I have never met a group of people who are not only willing to go out of their way(to include their off-time), to not only ensure you have the information you need to obtain your certifications, but to also get you connected with the companies/hiring managers to help you get that career you’ve been looking for. Never have I’ve been to a school that has offered this much. For those of you who may have an interest in an IT career, I highly recommend Carolina Career College Computer Learning Centers as your place to start.”
Zach Calhoun obtained his CompTIA A+ certification, and less than two months later was working at a Fortune 500 networking company in Research Triangle Park that’s regularly mentioned in Fortune’s “Best Companies to Work For”.
“Life is and always will be what you make it. Within 2 months of getting my first certification the school’s Career Services helped me get my interview and current job. The teachers and staff all know you by name and have helped me with anything I’ve asked for.”
We offer our congratulations to Uriah, Myron, Zach, and all our students and graduates finding success in the IT field. We are so proud to be partners in your success!
