14 Companies Attend Carolina Career College Career Fair
Many of the world’s best tech companies descended upon the Research Triangle Park campus of Carolina Career College Computer Learning Center on March 4th, looking to meet and speak with students regarding potential employment. Access to the Carolina Career College Student Career Fair, held three times per year, is an exclusive benefit included in every IT Career Development program.
Some companies, such as Spring Lake, NC-based RLM Communications, were attending their first Career Fair at Carolina Career College and were very impressed. “I wish you had hundreds more students like this,” said Dominique Martin, HR Administrator at RLM. “This is a great program you have going here.” When asked if she’d met some quality prospective employees, she didn’t hesitate. “Absolutely,” she said. “They are prepared, enthusiastic and very open to all levels of career opportunities.”
Other companies, like LED manufacturer Cree, have attended Carolina Career College Career Fairs and currently have multiple graduates working at their world headquarters in Durham, NC, just five minutes from the Carolina Career College campus. Carolina Career College grads have directly reported to Christopher Whalen at Cree, who says, “We’ve had about a half a dozen Carolina Career College students work with us. They all went above and beyond their position. Some went on to different positions, and have only gone up.” Added Tim Page from Cree, “We haven’t had anything but positive experiences dealing with Carolina Career College.”
